The Colosseum is located in the heart of Rome, near the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. The closest metro stop is Colosseo (Line B). It is open almost every day except for December 25th and January 1st. The Colosseum is usually open from 8:00 AM until one hour before sunset (Hours may vary seasonally). The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon to avoid crowds. Spring and Fall are the best seasons for mild weather.

The Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Piazza Venezia, and the Capitoline Museums are all within walking distance.

Pompeii is located South of Rome. It is easily accessible for a day trip with our tour! A 1-hour high-speed train ride, followed by a private shuttle transfer can comfortably get you there and back to Rome - while skipping all of the road traffic in-between!

Doge’s Palace or St. Mark’s Basilica! Be sure to pre-book your tickets to avoid long lines. Note that large bags aren’t allowed inside, and you must dress modestly (covered shoulders & knees).
